Development of flame retardant formulations and their applications on different fibers

Abstract

Flame retardants having different formulations were prepared. They were applied on different samples of textiles & polymers such as (Cotton, Linen, Polyester, Wool & Plastic). Vertical flame test method was used to the flame retardness. It was concluded that these flame retardant were suitable & ideal for textiles and various polymers.
